Position Summary

We are seeking an Engineering Manager to lead engineering operations, support product and process development initiatives, and manage a team of engineers and technical personnel. This role will oversee engineering projects from concept through implementation while driving continuous improvement, operational efficiency, and cross-functional collaboration with manufacturing, quality, maintenance, and leadership teams.

Responsibilities

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of engineers and technical staff.
  • Manage engineering projects, timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
  • Drive process improvements to increase efficiency, quality, and productivity.
  • Support new product development, product launches, and manufacturing transfers.
  • Collaborate with production, quality, maintenance, and operations teams to resolve technical issues.
  • Review and approve engineering drawings, specifications, and documentation.
  • Identify opportunities for automation, cost reduction, and process optimization.
  • Establish engineering standards, procedures, and best practices.
  • Monitor key performance indicators and provide regular project updates to leadership.
  • Support capital equipment projects, facility improvements, and technology implementation.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial, Electrical, or related field).
  • 5+ years of engineering leadership or management experience.
  • Experience supporting manufacturing, production, or industrial operations.
  • Strong project management and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with continuous improvement initiatives such as Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma.
  • Proficiency with ERP systems, CAD software, and Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to lead cross-functional teams and manage multiple priorities.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in manufacturing environments such as plastics, metal fabrication, aerospace, medical device, consumer products, or industrial manufacturing.
  • Six Sigma Certification, PMP, or other engineering certifications.
  • Experience with automation, robotics, or capital equipment projects.
