Engineering Manager – Manufacturing A growing manufacturing organization is looking for an experienced Engineering & Technical Operations Manager to lead its engineering function and support ongoing improvements across production, quality, and operational performance. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys a mix of people leadership, hands on problem solving, and long term technical strategy. The person in this position will guide engineering priorities, mentor a team, and partner closely with plant leadership to ensure engineering efforts directly support business goals. This is a key role for someone who can balance strategic thinking with practical execution. What You’ll Be Responsible For Provide technical direction that supports production, quality, cost, and delivery goals Identify and lead high impact engineering initiatives that improve processes and performance Work closely with operations leadership to align engineering resources with plant needs Lead, coach, and develop the engineering team; support performance management and growth Ensure engineering documentation: SOPs, drawings, specifications Support complex problem solving and root cause analysis when needed Maintain strong engineering standards and ensure compliance with internal and industry requirements Drive improvements that support quality, reliability, and long term operational stability What You Bring Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field 6+ years of experience in industrial or manufacturing environments Prior leadership experience managing engineers or technical teams Strong background in manufacturing processes, mechanical systems, and continuous improvement Experience developing SOPs, standard work, and engineering documentation Solid communication and project management skills If you’re a hands on engineering leader who enjoys improving processes, developing people, and driving measurable results in a manufacturing environment, we’d like to connect and share more about the role.
