Lead RF Engineering Innovation

Lead and develop a team of RF and Mechanical Engineers, fostering a high-performance and collaborative engineering organization. Provide strategic and technical leadership for both new product development and sustaining engineering initiatives. Partner with business development and sales teams to establish technology roadmaps aligned with customer and market needs. Drive the design, enhancement, and maintenance of advanced RF and microwave products and systems. Allocate engineering resources across multiple projects to ensure successful execution of business priorities. Manage engineering operating budgets, including IR&D, sustaining engineering, and customer-funded development programs. Establish and maintain engineering processes, design standards, and best practices to support quality and efficiency. Monitor industry and technology trends to inform product strategy and organizational capabilities. Serve as a key technical representative to customers, supporting business development activities and technical discussions. Support proposal development, project planning, engineering estimates, and program cost assessments. Promote a culture focused on innovation, accountability, employee development, and continuous improvement. Collaborate with leadership teams to achieve operational and strategic business objectives.

The successful applicant will have a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or a related engineering discipline required. A Master's degree in Electrical Engineering with an emphasis in RF design is preferred. They should have 10+ years of engineering experience within aerospace, defense, or related high-technology industries. Prior leadership experience managing engineering teams and technical development programs is required. A strong understanding of RF passive component design, simulation, and engineering best practices is necessary. Experience supporting military, space, and commercial aerospace programs and standards is required. Proven ability to lead employee development, team building, and performance management initiatives is needed. Strong project management, organizational, and resource planning skills are essential. Customer-facing experience with the ability to support technical discussions and business growth initiatives is required. Eligibility to obtain authorization to access U.S. export-controlled information in accordance with ITAR requirements is required.
