Salary: $221,000 - $295,000 Base + Equity

About the Role

A well-funded, fast-scaling AI-native analytics company is looking for a hands-on Engineering Lead to own the strategy, execution, and growth of its context platform, the system that lets AI agents work more intelligently with customer data. Tens of thousands of people rely on the platform daily for deep analytical work, and this team is central to how the company learns from real usage and keeps improving its AI intelligence.

This is a highly technical leadership role that sits at the intersection of engineering, AI strategy, and people management. You'll set technical direction, stay close to the code, and build the team tackling some of the hardest open problems in applied AI today.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead a team building the company's AI context platform
• Drive technical strategy, review designs, and stay hands-on with the codebase
• Manage and develop the engineers on your team, setting a high bar and helping them do their best work
• Recruit and grow exceptional engineering talent
• Help tackle foundational problems in applied AI, including detecting and debugging agent reasoning failures, structuring business context effectively, and balancing human oversight with automated improvement

What We're Looking For

• 6+ years of experience as a full-stack software engineer, including at least 2 years as an engineering manager
• A strong technical background with the ability to stay hands-on while leading a team
• Comfortable operating in a fast-moving, evolving AI product environment
• Track record of setting technical direction and shipping high-quality software
• Strong people leadership skills, with experience setting a high bar and developing engineers
