Engineering Manager

We are looking for an Engineering Manager for a manufacturer in Saxonburg, PA.

This established company has around 150 employees, and a team oriented can-do culture. This person will report to the CEO and be part of the executive leadership team. They will have oversight of a small team, including applications and materials engineers and some key departments. This person will evaluate, document, prioritize and implement engineering projects. Develop and lead cost reduction and process improvement initiatives. They will provide clear direction, expectations, encouragement, opportunity and performance feedback to employees.

The position is open due to retirement and restructuring in this company. You can expect to have a role in decision making and the future direction and growth of the company.

Salary is expected to be six figures, and we will consider all salary requirements. Plus profit sharing, which historically has been about 5 percent of salary. Full benefits package includes fully paid healthcare benefits for a family! Plus generous 401K plan.

Weekly work schedule is Monday- Friday is 8am- 4.30pm (little to no overtime). On site in Saxonburg PA. This person may need to visit another smaller plant location in another state, two or three times a year for a few days.

Requirements:

• A four year a degree in engineering or equivalent experience
• Relevant experience in a manufacturing environment
• Supervisory experience and ability to manage people
• Must be able to pass a preemployment background check
