This role is ideal for a driven engineering professional who enjoys balancing strategic leadership with hands-on technical involvement and is looking for a clear pathway toward broader leadership responsibilities in the future.Job ResponsibilitiesLead, mentor, and develop engineering, estimating, quality, and technical teams.Create a culture focused on accountability, collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.Align engineering priorities with broader business objectives and operational goals.Provide technical leadership across manufacturing processes, tooling, fixturing, process development, and production optimization.Drive improvements in productivity, cycle times, quality performance, and manufacturing efficiency.Support troubleshooting activities and lead root cause investigations for process and quality issues.Ensure engineering documentation, manufacturing instructions, and technical standards remain accurate and up to date.Oversee estimating functions and support the development of accurate manufacturing cost models and customer quotations.Review technical drawings and specifications to assess manufacturability and project feasibility.Partner with sales and operations teams on new business opportunities, proposals, and customer requirements.Manage quality system compliance activities, corrective actions, audit readiness, and continuous improvement programs.Develop departmental budgets, monitor KPIs, and support capital investment planning.Participate as a member of the senior leadership team and contribute to long-term business strategy.Interface with customers and suppliers to support technical reviews, new product introductions, quality initiatives, and project execution.Lead new product introduction activities and support validation, qualification, and manufacturing transfer processes.MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.
