Our services are specialized, integrated, and grouped into three categories: A/E Design and Ideation, Infrastructure Planning & Design, and Construction Management & Consulting.Our Mechanical Engineering team is currently expanding and adopting new trends in the industry using advanced design and analysis tools, coupled with a highly technical and collaborative approach.INTEGRA is currently seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join our team in Charlotte, North Carolina. This role involves designing, coordinating, and reviewing mechanical, HVAC, Plumbing and Fire Protection systems for a variety of building projects.The ideal candidate will work closely with senior engineers and project managers, to contribute to the delivery of high-quality, innovative solutions for our clients.DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES Design and layout HVAC, plumbing, and fire protection systems for building projectsPrepare technical drawings, specifications, and cost estimates for mechanical systemsPerform hydraulic and mechanical calculations and develop technical reportsCoordinate with multidisciplinary teams (civil, structural, electrical, and architectural)Support construction administration, including field visits, RFIs, and submittal reviewsAttend project meetings with clients, consultants, and contractorsStay current with building codes, mechanical design standards, and permitting requirementsUtilize design software including Revit, AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, and mechanical system design toolsPerform other related duties as assignedREQUIREMENTS Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from an ABET-accredited institution2–5 years of experience in mechanical systems design for buildingsProfessional Engineer (PE) license strongly preferredProficiency in Revit and AutoCAD (Revit preferred)Knowledge of building codes and industry standardsExperience with load calculation software and energy modeling tools preferredStrong communication skills and the ability to work in a multidisciplinary team environmentExperience with federal, municipal, commercial, higher education, or healthcare facility projects preferredExperience with various project delivery methods, including Design-Build and CM-at-Risk, preferredLEED certification or other high-performance building credentials preferredWe offer a competitive benefits package, a hybrid working schedule for work-life balance, professional development and mentorship opportunities, and a collaborative, team-centered culture where everyone makes a difference.*Integra Design Group is an equal opportunity employer.*Job Categories:Job Type: Full-timeJob Location: North CarolinaApply for this job Use the form below to submit your job applicationFull NameEmailPhoneUpload CV/Resume, Upload File (Max file size 10MB).
