Job Description: Engineering Operations Leader - Audio Technology
We are seeking an experienced Engineering Operations Leader to drive the successful delivery of customer-focused audio software, tuning, and services within our Audio Technology Licensing organization. This role plays a critical part in supporting the organization's evolution toward a more software-centric delivery model, while continuing to deliver high-quality audio tuning and technical services to customers worldwide.
Overview
The Engineering Operations Leader is responsible for orchestrating complex, multi-program delivery across global teams, ensuring predictable execution, transparent communication, and strong alignment between engineering, business development, and executive leadership. The ideal candidate combines operational rigor, customer-centricity, and software delivery experience, and is comfortable managing dynamic priorities across dozens of active programs.
Key Responsibilities
Experience & Qualifications
Proven experience leading engineering operations, program management, or delivery organizations, with significant exposure to software development and delivery. Demonstrated success overseeing global teams across US, China/APAC and EU and delivering complex, customer-facing programs across multiple regions and time zones. Experience managing or supporting delivery of software-centric technologies, ideally including audio software, signal processing, tuning tools, or embedded software platforms. Strong executive communication skills, with experience presenting program status, delivery performance, and revenue forecasts to senior leadership. Track record of effective cross-functional collaboration across engineering, product, and business development organizations. Comfortable operating in ambiguous, fast-moving environments, particularly those undergoing a transition toward more scalable, software-driven delivery models.

The hiring range for this position in the primary work location of Framingham, Massachusetts is: $179,000-$246,050. The hiring range for other Bose work locations may vary.
