We are a reliable source of build knowledge and support that goes above and beyond to enable project teams across Apple to land their code and ensure quality releases to our customers. We're looking for someone with strong technical fundamentals, exceptional organizational skills, and a collaborative spirit who thrives in a fast-paced environment where your work directly impacts the software that powers Apple's innovative products.

Serve as the central coordination hub for train bring-up processes, build management, and submission integration across Apple's diverse project portfolio. Partner with engineering teams to ensure smooth code integration, coordinate complex build schedules, and provide expert guidance on build processes. Manage critical activities while maintaining clear communication channels. Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance build reliability and developer experience.

This role combines technical expertise with project coordination skills, requiring someone who can navigate complex technical systems while maintaining strong cross-functional relationships. You'll be instrumental in ensuring Apple's software development pipeline operates efficiently and reliably.

Managing software builds to support releases to beta users and customers

Identifying, escalating, and communicating key issues

Developing strategies for improving processes

Driving resolutions for issues with engineering teams

Helping to manage risk in the endgame leading up to software launch

BS/MS EE/CS/CE or equivalent

3-5+ years experience as a Project or Program Manager

Build and Release Engineering/Release Management experience highly desirable

Project management experience in software development life cycle highly desirable

Unix programming/scripting experience highly desirable

Self-motivated and proactive with demonstrated creative and critical thinking capabilities

Proven track record of defining processes and executing on them
