The Engineering Program Manager serves as the operational backbone of the engineering organization, driving project execution, cross-functional coordination, and visibility across multiple product development initiatives from concept through commercialization. This role partners closely with engineering leadership to ensure priorities are aligned, risks are identified early, and teams deliver high-quality results on schedule in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Description

  • Serve as the operational cornerstone of the engineering organization, ensuring projects are tracked, coordinated, and delivered from concept through release and ongoing support.
  • Plan, coordinate, and drive engineering programs from concept through commercialization, establishing timelines, milestones, and deliverables.
  • Track commitments, identify risks and blockers, and escalate issues to leadership when project deliverables are at risk.
  • Manage engineering capacity and priorities across Electrical, Mechanical, and Software Engineering teams.
  • Lead daily engineering standups and maintain visibility into project progress, dependencies, and resource allocation.
  • Act as the primary coordination point between Engineering, Operations, Sales, Quality, and Supply Chain teams.
  • Support production readiness and customer commitments through effective communication and timely delivery of engineering outputs.
  • Build and maintain project management systems that provide leadership with clear visibility into status, risks, and execution metrics.
  • Coordinate engineering change orders (ECOs), testing activities, product releases, and change control processes.
  • Track key performance metrics including milestone adherence, cycle time, throughput, and project execution effectiveness.
  • Identify recurring bottlenecks and drive continuous improvement initiatives that enable organizational scaling and operational excellence.

Profile

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Engineering Management, Manufacturing, Operations, or a related technical discipline.
  • Proven experience coordinating complex, cross-functional engineering projects within a manufacturing or engineering-driven environment.
  • Experience in Program Management, Project Management, Engineering Operations, or a similar role supporting product development and commercialization.
  • Strong ability to manage multiple concurrent projects while maintaining organization, accountability, and follow-through.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to align Engineering, Operations, Quality, Supply Chain, and Sales teams.
  • Experience coordinating engineering change control, product release processes, testing activities, and documentation management.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify risks, remove roadblocks, and drive project execution.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving environment where structure and processes are being built and refined.
  • Technical aptitude and curiosity, with the ability to effectively collaborate within a hardware, electronics, or manufacturing environment.
