Job Title: Engineering Program Manager – Stamping Location: Madison Heights, MI Position Type: Direct Hire Schedule: 1st Shift, Monday–Friday, approximately 7:00 AM–4:30 PM Salary: $100,000–$150,000 annually, based on experience with potential room for negotiations.
Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced Engineering Program Manager with a strong background in automotive stamping and sheet metal forming. This individual will lead engineering and design teams, manage program schedules and budgets, coordinate with automotive OEM customers, and ensure projects meet technical requirements, quality standards, and deadlines.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead engineering and design projects from feasibility through final approval.
Manage program milestones, schedules, budgets, and engineering changes.
Serve as the primary point of contact for automotive OEM customers.
Identify and mitigate technical, financial, and scheduling risks.
Direct cross-functional teams and support structured problem-solving initiatives.
Qualifications:
5+ years of engineering project management experience.
5+ years of technical experience in automotive stamping.
Strong knowledge of sheet metal forming dies and die functionality.
5+ years of experience with 3D CAD software, such as NX or CATIA V5.
Experience with Microsoft Project or Smartsheet.
Knowledge of 8D and 5-Why problem-solving methodologies.
Experience with AutoForm, PAM-STAMP, or Dynaform is preferred.
Bachelor's degree in Engineering preferred.
