Position Summary:
The Engineering Project Leader II is responsible for designing and detailing the mechanical systems for Regal Rexnord Automation Solutions machinery. This position will be required to manage multiple units within a system design while ensuring the assembly and operation of the machinery meet all the criteria set by the customer and by Regal Rexnord Automation Solutions.
Major Responsibilities:
Produce error free, cost-effective drawings. These include:
System layout
Component drawings, detailed to ensure quality and safety
Detailed equipment drawings highlighting expected performance
Meet timelines given for assignments.
Demonstrate innovativeness in designs, looking for increased quality and cost effectiveness.
Generate detailed ECNs as required
Generate detailed ERNs as required
Able to support Site audits for project kickoff to gather required inputs to ensure success
Assist project team in designing and detailing portions of projects
Assume project engineer responsibilities for small to medium size projects.
Create and maintain an engineering file.
Develop and monitor schedules.
Review work performed by others for the project.
Provide Mechanical Engineering manager with a weekly status update.
Perform equipment startups as the lead or as an advisor with the startup team.
Perform all other duties and responsibilities, as required.
