Engineering Project Manager (Fuel Oil)Location: Danbury, CTReports To: Engineering ManagerJob Type: Full-timeOverviewThis position has two overlapping parts critical for success: as the Project Manager, you will be ultimately responsible for the profitability of the project, using our software tools to assign tasks, manage the project schedule, act as the single point of contact for the customer, and make decisions that affect the project. Strong interpersonal skills are required for communication with the factory, task owners, customer, and stakeholders. As a Design Engineer, you will serve as a task owner to keep projects moving forward, modify bills of materials, electrical schematics, panel layouts, or O&M manuals, review technical submittals before sending to the customer, and anticipate how the customer will receive submittals.ResponsibilitiesProject Manager: Maintain project profitability, assign tasks via software, manage schedules, act as primary customer contact, make decisions on project issues.Design Engineer: Act as task owner, modify BOMs, schematics, layouts, review technical submittals, anticipate customer acceptance, review returned submittal comments from technical and scope perspective.Technical RequirementsUnderstanding of NFPA 30.Understanding of UL142.Understanding of control panel design and fabrication (UL508A).Understanding of Fuel Oil piping systems for boilers and generators.Understanding of control strategies in storage tank selection and filling.Ability to select control components (pumps, regulators, control valves, transmitters, etc.).Good communication on different platforms.PLC and HMI programming experience (preferable).PID control loop programming and tuning (preferable).Ability to review customer specifications and propose cost-effective solutions.Physical RequirementsAbility to sit for extended periods and work on a computer.Ability to stand in a production environment.Ability to lift 25 lbs.Ability to reach into file cabinets 5 feet above the ground.Benefits401(k) and matchingHealth insuranceHealth savings accountVision insuranceDental insuranceLife insurancePaid time offQuarterly bonus potential#J-18808-Ljbffr
