The Mechanical or Chemical Engineering Project Manager (EPM) is accountable for the engineering scope, technical integrity, and engineering execution of assigned EPC projects. The EPM serves as the company's technical representative to clients, vendors, and subcontractors and is responsible for ensuring engineering deliverables are safe, compliant, constructible, and aligned with project cost and schedule objectives.
The EPM does not own the overall project contract, commercial terms, or total project budget. Instead, the EPM partners closely with the Project Manager (PM), who retains responsibility for overall project delivery, cost, and schedule. Together, the EPM and PM function as a unified project leadership team.
