LOCATION: Albany, Syracuse, or Rochester, upstate NYRemote but needs to be in the locations above and willing to travel to the site visits. (will be expensed)Must Have Bachelor of Science in: Civil Engineering, or Environmental EngineeringLicensed Professional Engineer (PE) in New York and/or New England states10–15 years of professional engineering experienceProficiency with:Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)Experience managing multiple projects and client relationshipsMust possess a valid driver's license with a clean driving record without restrictions.Plus Electric transmission projectsNew York and/or New England energy marketsExperience working with State Siting Boards and utility permitting processesExperience supporting:Solar energy projectsBattery energy storage systems (BESS)Construction oversight and compliance programsProficiency with:MicroStationProjectWiseExperience with:Environmental investigation and remediationDay-to-Day Serve as Project Manager for complex engineering projects, ensuring successful delivery on schedule, within budget, and in accordance with client objectives and quality standardsWork closely with Operations Managers, Energy Initiative Leads, and Business Unit Leaders to deliver safe, profitable, and sustainable projectsLead multidisciplinary project teams and coordinate project execution from planning through constructionEngineering & Technical Responsibilities Electric transmission projectsRenewable energy projectsBattery energy storage systems (BESS)Other energy-related infrastructure projectsSupport projects from pre-construction through Issued for Permit (IFP) and Issued for Construction (IFC) phasesDevelop and review:Erosion and Sediment Control Plans (E&SCPs)Grading and drainage designsProvide construction oversight and compliance supportPermitting & Regulatory Coordination Lead federal, state, and local permitting efforts for complex energy projectsCoordinate with regulatory agencies, utility clients, and project stakeholdersEnsure compliance with applicable safety standards, regulations, permitting requirements, and industry best practicesConduct activities in line with internal procedures, legislation, and industry standards.Pursue continuous professional development and maintain a high degree of discipline knowledge and awareness.Work in a safe manner at all times and report all health and safety incidents and concerns.Additional duties as required.Day-to-day responsibilities (simplified) Own projects from start to finishKeep them on schedule + budget2.
