Engineering Sales Specialist

Drive sales growth by developing and managing relationships with consulting engineers and key industry partners, including contractors, industrial facilities, institutions, and government organizations. Support specification influence, provide technical expertise on HVAC and plumbing systems, and serve as a trusted resource for design, application, and product solutions. Focus on expanding market presence while aligning with broader sales and strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage relationships with consulting engineers and other key industry stakeholders to expand specification opportunities and drive sales growth.

  • Influence project specifications to position preferred or proprietary product and system solutions.

  • Provide technical design and application support to engineers, contractors, and internal teams using industry and manufacturer resources.

  • Present product demonstrations, technical seminars, and educational lunch-and-learn sessions to promote system knowledge and product adoption.

  • Maintain detailed records of customer interactions, project updates, and sales activity through call reports and CRM documentation.

  • Monitor and follow up on project opportunities to support successful product specification and project execution.

  • Participate in professional industry organizations to strengthen relationships and stay current on market trends.

  • Attend product training and factory education programs to maintain advanced technical knowledge of HVAC and plumbing systems.

  • Collaborate with internal sales, engineering, and marketing teams to support strategic initiatives and product promotions.

  • Support leadership in achieving manufacturer sales targets and expanding product adoption within the market.

  • Maintain ethical standards, professionalism, and a customer-focused approach in all business interactions.

  • Develop and maintain deep expertise in HVAC and plumbing system applications to serve as a trusted technical advisor.
