Position Summary:

The Engineering Services Assistant plays a critical role in supporting manufacturing operations through accurate data management, job setup, and production documentation within the ERP system. This position ensures that work orders, routings, and materials are properly configured to enable efficient production flow and minimize delays. The role requires strong attention to detail, cross-functional collaboration, and the ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Job Duties:

- Maintain and manage data within the ERP system, ensuring accuracy and completeness

- Create and update routings and product structures

- Process new part number requests and system entry

- Generate and release work orders for production

- Assign materials from bills of materials (BOM) to jobs

- Review and edit open requisitions as needed

- Identify and resolve job release errors quickly in collaboration with engineering to prevent production delays

- Release production documentation to manufacturing teams

- Support manufacturing by locating and printing job drawings and BOMs

- Maintain compliance with all company safety policies and procedures

What you need to be successful:

- High school diploma or equivalent

- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment

- Working knowledge of ERP systems

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)

- Strong communication skills (written and verbal)

- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively

- High level of organization and attention to detail

- Solid problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience reading mechanical and/or electrical drawings

- Familiarity with PDM or vault systems
