    Engineering Services Senior Technician position in Winston-Salem, NC.

    US Citizenship is required for this position

    Security Clearance IS NOT required

    1st Shift Mon-Fri 7:00AM - 3:45PM (with 45-minute lunch)

    Job Description:

    ROLE OVERVIEW

    This position is for an Engineering Services Senior Technician who is under minimal supervision at Interiors Engineering Development Lab (EDL).

    Performs moderately complex technical tasks which contribute to the planning and execution of engineering projects.

    May serve as a resource on varied tasks.

    Machining experience desired.

    PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

    Works with engineers to build and test commercial aircraft seats and furniture

    Provides technical support to engineers on a variety of tasks.

    Confer with engineers on details and implications of test article build, test procedures and results.

    Machine small parts based on drawing.

    MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

    HS Diploma or Associate's degree (AA/AS) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; and minimum 4 years related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

    Proficient with variety of hand tools

    Proficient with basic mechanical and manufacturing concepts.

    Excellent written and oral communication skills along with the ability to work in a team environment.

    Basic computer proficiency.

    Working knowledge of Microsoft Word & Excel.

    Working knowledge of engineering drawing interpretations.

    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

    Experience in a highly regulated industry, especially aerospace or automotive

    Experience working in a testing and quality assurance environment

    Well organized with solid judgment; able to multitask and adjust to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

    Knowledge and experience with 2D and 3D modeling software

    Demonstrated knowledge of metal machining and fabrication equipment
