The Engineering Site Manager - Controllable Solid Propulsion Basic Function:
The position will provide opportunities to work directly with technical peers, chief engineers, systems engineering and program managers within the company.
The position is responsible for the mechanical engineering design and development of complex rocket motor systems and site manager of a team of approximately 20 Mechanical, Systems, and Aerospace engineers.
This position is a dual-role position requiring the candidate to perform management activities as well as the individual''s current program responsibilities. The additional responsibilities and requirements as an Engineering Site Manager are anticipated to be approximately 75 percent of the total job duties.
The position reports to the VP of Engineering and is part of the Strategic Systems line of business based in Long Beach, CA. This role is hybrid based in Long Beach, CA.
Primary Responsibilities:
This position provides direct opportunities to collaborate with technical peers, chief engineers, systems engineering, and program managers within the company. The role is responsible for leading the design, technical execution, and project engineering of complex rocket motor systems while serving as the Engineering Site Manager - Controllable Solid Propulsion for a team of approximately 20 engineers.

The good faith base salary range for this role is $190,000 - $230,000 at the time of this posting. Where you fall within the range depends on your experience, skills, and location. This range reflects base salary only and does not include benefits or bonus/incentive. This range may be adjusted in the future.
