Job Title: Engineering Skilled Trade Expert 2Location: St. Louis, MO (On-Site)Employment Type: 12 Month Contract with Possible ExtensionPay Rate: $60.00 - $65.00/hr.Work Model: Fully Onsite*****NO CORP-TO-CORP CANDIDATES WILL BE CONSIDERED*****Role OverviewBEPC is seeking an experienced Construction Quality Engineer to support a major construction project in St. Louis, Missouri. This position is responsible for overseeing quality assurance and quality control activities throughout the construction lifecycle, ensuring all work meets project specifications, industry standards, regulatory requirements, and safety expectations. The ideal candidate will bring strong QA/QC expertise, experience interpreting engineering drawings, and the ability to collaborate effectively with project teams, contractors, and stakeholders to drive quality excellence across all phases of construction.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop, implement, and maintain Quality Assurance/Quality Control (QA/QC) plans for assigned construction projects.Conduct routine inspections, audits, and assessments of construction activities to verify compliance with approved designs, specifications, codes, and quality standards.Review and approve quality documentation, including inspection reports, test plans, material submittals, and quality records.Partner with project managers, engineers, contractors, and subcontractors to identify quality concerns and implement corrective actions.Investigate quality issues through root cause analysis and recommend preventive measures to minimize future occurrences.Prepare and maintain detailed quality reports, records, and documentation for project stakeholders.Support continuous improvement initiatives related to construction quality processes and procedures.Provide training, coaching, and guidance to project personnel regarding QA/QC requirements and best practices.Verify compliance with applicable safety regulations and industry standards throughout project execution.QualificationsRequired QualificationsBachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical or Industrial Engineering preferred), Construction Management, or a related field.5–10 years of experience in Construction Quality Assurance and Quality Control.Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, quality systems, and industry standards.Experience developing and executing QA/QC programs on construction projects.Familiarity with construction quality regulations, codes, and best practices.Knowledge of Quality Management Systems, including ISO 9001 principles.Ability to read, interpret, and navigate engineering drawings, specifications, and construction models.Strong analytical, problem-solving, and root cause investigation skills.Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and quality management software.Ability to work independently and within cross-functional project teams.Preferred QualificationsCertified Quality Engineer (CQE), Quality Management Professional (QMP), or similar certification.Experience supporting Life Sciences, GMP-regulated facilities, pharmaceutical manufacturing, biotechnology, or cleanroom construction projects.Experience with commissioning, validation, or highly regulated construction environments.About BEPCBEPC Inc., founded in 2007, is a 100% employee-owned company providing top-tier consulting and staffing solutions across industries like technology, engineering, manufacturing, and project management.
