Under general supervision performs development services-related engineering work of considerable difficulty in the review and coordination of Community Development projects; performs related work as assigned.

Essential functions include but not limited to driving, standing, walking, sitting, lifting, and carrying (up to 20 lbs.). Pushing and pulling (up to 20 lbs.), working with and around others, working alone, working with interruptions, repetitive motion hand/ wrist/ elbow/ shoulder, vision acuity (near/ far/ color vision) for inspections, hearing and speech for ordinary conversation, touch for working with electrical/ mechanical systems. Environmental factors include working outside part of the time.
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering and four years of experience working in a civil engineering related position, including two years of supervisory experience; OR
Associate degree in Civil Engineering and five years of experience working in a civil engineering related position, including two years of supervisory experience; OR
Any equivalent combination of education, training and experience which demonstrates the ability to perform the duties of the position.
This position is non-exempt from overtime.
This position is safety sensitive.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
Current registration as a P.E. within the State of Arizona; Must obtain an Arizona drivers license by date of hire and maintain it throughout employment.
