Engineering Technical Writer - Fenton, Michigan
Contract Position: Day Shift role
Pay Rate: $35.50 - $38.00 per hour
Key Role of the Engineering Technical Writer:
Looking for someone that can help facilitate the manuals for all equipment we produce in our facility. They'll be working with others for the technical writing, but they play a key role in getting information from the floor to ensure the manuals are accurate.
Description of the Engineering Technical Writer:
Support, develop, and coordinate activities related to implementing and maintaining customer documentation per customer requirements. Completes final screening of documentation prior to submitting it to customer. Support improvement activities for the Corporate Management Systems and perform process auditing.
Required Experience and Education of the Engineering Technical Writer:- Associate degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school; or six months to one-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Must demonstrate working level knowledge of customer interface.
- Preferably experience working with Ford, GM, FCA, and Tier 1 suppliers
- Must demonstrate working level knowledge of ISO standards and APAP practices
