Job Title: Engineering Technician – 1st & 3rd Shift
Location: Manchester, NH
Hourly Rate: $26.00 – $31.00/hr (depending on experience and shift)
Type: Temp-to-Hire
Schedule:
• 1st Shift: 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM
• 3rd Shift: 11:00 PM – 6:30 AM
POSITION OVERVIEW
Top Prospect Group is seeking Engineering Technicians to provide direct technical support to Production Operations and Manufacturing Engineering teams. This role is hands-on within a cleanroom manufacturing environment and plays a critical role in supporting process yield, troubleshooting manufacturing issues, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Serve as the accountable technical team member for process yield performance within an assigned production area.
• Provide direct, hands-on technical support for manufacturing issues within a cleanroom environment.
• Support productivity and throughput improvement projects to achieve target process run rates.
• Perform hands-on failure analysis and investigate process nonconformities.
• Deliver clear and detailed documentation and report-outs regarding technical investigations and findings.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing Engineering teams to develop and implement process improvements.
• Design, develop, and fabricate simple manufacturing tools, fixtures, and devices.
• Work closely with vendors, suppliers, and internal teams on engineering projects.
• Support change management activities including validation documentation, engineering studies, work instructions, and other technical documentation.
QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
• 1+ years of experience in a technical, hands-on problem-solving role within a regulated manufacturing environment (medical device experience preferred).
• Demonstrated troubleshooting skills involving electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, or hardware systems.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical documentation.
• Experience with Lean Manufacturing principles and/or structured problem-solving methodologies.
• Ability to perform basic data analysis and reporting.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work cross-functionally.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
EDUCATION
• Associate Degree in Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related technical field required.
