Position is located in either Palmdale, CA or Edwards AFB, CA.The candidate will work within a technical team responsible for the building, integration, test and maintenance of communications hardware in laboratory and field settings ranging in complexity from single rack of equipment to 10+ racks and will provide technical support to engineers on a variety of technical tasks.Key ResponsibilitiesBuild systems using engineering drawings, configuration & recovery documentationSupport startup & shutdown procedures, ATP/Delivery, as well as post-delivery supportSupport the build and installation of custom cables and wire harness assemblies as well as tray assemblies from engineering drawings and interconnect diagramsProduce engineering documentation, reports, drawings (flow charts, block diagrams, and schematics)Perform detailed mathematical calculations using established formulas, conducting preliminary analyses of data where guidelines are provided in such areas as trajectory adequacy, model dimensional consistency and quantitative judgments concerning technical dataTravel up to 25% may be required with occasional surge travel periods of up to 40%The selected candidate will be required to work full-time, on-site at our facility.
