Please email me at mail id :alec.dsouza@prolim.com or you can call me at phone:214-764-6882 Company Overview Northrop Grumman is seeking an Engineering Technician 2 to support the Structural Test Team within Launch Systems at the Chandler, AZ facility. This is a hands-on role supporting critical launch vehicle programs through build, test, and teardown of structural static load tests. Key Responsibilities Provide technical and mechanical support in the Structural Test Bay Collaborate with engineers and technicians to build, test, and document hardware Assemble fixtures and test setups; assist in design improvements Perform hands-on work ranging from small precision tasks to large structural components Interpret engineering drawings, schematics, and work packages Ensure compliance with safety and Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) standards Respond effectively in fast-paced, changing test environments Maintain accurate documentation and data recording Basic Qualifications High School Diploma (or equivalent) + 2+ years of related experience or education Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills Experience reading engineering drawings and schematics Hands-on experience with tools and mechanical assemblies Ability to lift up to 50 lbs Basic computer proficiency (MS Office) Strong communication and teamwork skills U.S. Citizenship required Preferred Qualifications Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and 5S principles Experience with Costpoint or MES systems Familiarity with hydraulic systems Forklift and crane operation experience Soldering skills Instrumentation experience (strain gages, displacement transducers)
