This role involves providing field engineering support for various construction projects, including new builds, repairs, and renovations.
Responsibilities include overseeing contractor quality control programs, reviewing and approving quality control plans, and ensuring adherence to quality standards for all work features.
Ensure contractors comply with contract documents, specifications, and engineering drawings.
Provide safety oversight by enforcing Army Corps EM385 and OSHA safety standards.
Assist contractors during construction by coordinating utility outages, road closures, obtaining permits, and selecting laydown areas.
Review and approve contractor invoices based on onsite work analysis.
Utilize project schedules for work execution, participate in weekly meetings, and monitor progress to ensure timely completion.
