Immediate need for a Engineering Technician for a position in the IT Industry. This is 06+ month’s contract opportunity with long-term potential located in Austin, TX. Please review the job description below: Job ID: 18-25426 Key Responsibilities and Technology Experience: • Strong understanding of configuring, repairing, and troubleshooting PC systems • Good knowledge of basic principles, methods, technologies, and practices of the PC industry • Applies research information gathering and analytical skills • Able to handle details, structured problems • Must be a self-starter, self-directed, self-motivated and can work independently and/or as a team member • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Strong analytical skills • Need someone who is familiar with PC, running applications, install and remove parts, knows how to run benchmarks on PCs. • 4-6 years of relevant experience or equivalent combination of education and work experience • Experience with Industry standard benchmarks on PC systems • Personal Computer and Windows Operating System WIN 10 experience ? Like to Haves: Basic Software scripting / Python experience to automate some of the process.
