Responsibilities may include.Trouble shooting machining, programming, and tooling issuesCollect data for cycle time analyses, capability study, process improvement projects, FAT/SATMetrology supportTool design supportCAD/CAM supportCreation and updating of process documentation (Standard work, process parameter)Supporting New Product Introduction ActivitiesSupporting New Capital Introduction ActivitiesOther manufacturing engineering support as neededKey ResponsibilitiesFirst line support in addressing daily production issues related to process performance.Write and maintain CNC ProgramsTrouble shooting machine, program and tooling issuesSupport training and qualify new employeesSupport Operations in meeting facility KPIs in Safety, Quality, Deliveries and CostSupport Channel Manufacturing Engineers in process documentationParticipate on problem solving and/or continuous improvement activities on various plant issues as assigned.Maintain 5S certification of work area and throughout the facilityPerforms data entry duties for a variety of manufacturing/quality systems.Support and recommends edits and updates of new and existing documents as assigned.Auditing operations to process standardsBe able to lift and maneuver up to 35 lbs.Leadership & Team DevelopmentGoals and metrics for this position are based on assignments and projects decided upon between the employee and the supervisor.Cross-Functional CollaborationWill be responsible for coordinating between shop floor Channel Managers and workers and the engineering team to ensure project completion.Qualifications5 years manufacturing experience or an Associate in Science with an emphasis in machining, tool design, mechatronic or engineering plus 2 years' direct manufacturing experience or a Bachelors in an Engineering related study.Critical thinking / trouble shooting skillsAbility to read and interpret blueprintsProficient in MS Office Suite SoftwareWorking knowledge in Solid WorksWorking knowledge in JASP or MinitabProficient in CAD/CAM software (MasterCAM or G zero)Flexible – willingness to work off-shifts and weekends to accomplish goalsPositive attitude with the ability to support the Company's goals and missionMust use excellent ethical business practices and good judgment in dealingsHigh safety focus with the desire to maintain a safe work environment in an industrial settingA commitment to continuous improvementAbility to work collaboratively to solve problems and remain open to try new ways of doing things Ability to focus on highly detailed tasks to ensure accuracyWhat You'll Love About SKFRest and Relaxation.
