Engineering Technician 

Future Opportunity

CSEngineering is seeking an Engineering Technician to join our growing team! This role will support aviation and C5ISR initiatives within a federal government environment, contributing to mission-critical aircraft systems and avionics modernization efforts. The ideal candidate will bring extensive experience supporting military or government aviation electronic systems, testing, and technical documentation.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Support research, design, development, testing, and integration of electronic components and systems for government aircraft.
  • Assist in the design and development of electronic circuits, avionics systems, and support equipment utilized in aviation and telecommunications environments.
  • Conduct research and analysis of electronic components and parts required to support cross-platform avionics and C5ISR mission systems.
  • Develop and maintain electronic drawing packages, schematics, and technical documentation.
  • Operate and troubleshoot electronic and avionics test equipment to support system testing and validation activities.
  • Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and government stakeholders to support mission-critical aviation programs.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Security Clearance: Secret Clearance

  • Minimum of six (6) years of experience supporting USCG aviation avionics/C5ISR projects or equivalent DoD aviation programs.
  • Strong knowledge of electronic theory, electronic materials, and electrical principles.
  • Experience supporting avionics systems associated with government aircraft.
  • Hands-on experience using electronic and avionics test equipment, including:
  • Communication Analyzers
  • Time Domain Reflectometers (TDR)
  • Frequency Domain Reflectometers (FDR)
  • Oscilloscopes
  • Data Bus Testers/Co-Pilot Systems
  • AC/DC Test Equipment
  • Software Defined Radio (SDR) Test Equipment
  • Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and engineering documentation.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Experience supporting Coast Guard aviation systems.
  • Associate's degree or technical certification in Electronics Engineering Technology, Electrical Engineering Technology, or related field.
  • Experience supporting aviation logistics, maintenance, or configuration management activities.
  • Familiarity with military aviation communication and mission systems.
