Introduction
The Operation’s Team supports the development of various electronic hardware for automotive applications. We provide rapid prototyping capability and low-volume hardware assembly, facilitating quick design iterations for product development. We are looking for an enthusiastic, innovative, self-starter who is willing to take on the challenges to work with us as an exceptional engineering technician.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree with 4 to 6 years of experience in electro-mechanical assembly
- Ability to read technical documents and drawings
- Working knowledge of Google Suite including Docs, Sheets, and Slides
- Proficient using standard assembly tools: cutters, crimpers, soldering irons, pin insertion/removal tools, and torque tools
- Prior work experience in the industry
Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2.
Preferred Skills & Qualifications
- Technical training, such as soldering, trade school, or OJT classes
- Hands-on lab experience such as soldering, power supplies, signal generators, oscilloscopes
- IPC-610, IPC-620, or JSTD-10 certification
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Follow directions while adhering to process detail for each assignment
- Assist engineers during the development of new products to optimize the manufacturing process
- Accurately assemble and test a variety of electronic hardware from engineering prototypes through short-run production
