BASIC POSITION DUTIES:
- Perform engineering floor support, routine engineering tasks and assist in various engineering projects.
JOB DUTIES:
- Assist in the design and implementation methods of processes to improve product quality and manufacturing.
- Trouble shoots problems in equipment and or process to affect timely solutions and maintain continuity of production flow.
- Assist in monitoring and debugging new methods and processes to ensure desired results.
- Support continuous improvements and APS activities.
- Performs other related duties as required.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
- Two-year technical degree or comparable technical experience, plus at least 2 years engineering/technical experience in a manufacturing environment.
SPECIAL SKILLS OR EXPERIENCE DESIRED:
- Knowledge of engineering systems & methods in manufacturing.
- Ability to work in a team environment.
- Working knowledge of safety & environmental considerations.
- Strong oral & written communications.
- Proficiency with P.C. based software.
- Willingness to stay on a problem through completion.
