Volt is immediately hiring a Engineering Technician in Greensboro, North Carolina with an American semiconductor company that designs, manufactures, and supplies radio-frequency systems and solutions for applications that drive wireless and broadband communications, as well as foundry services.
The Engineering Technician’s primary focus will be the de-processing and imaging/measurement of mobile phone RF front end modules. This will primarily involve soldering or de-processing small components and IC die under a microscope, using a polishing wheel, and acids under a fume hood. The candidate should have an academic understanding of electronic module assembly, basic electronics, and some familiarity with solid-state integrated circuits.
100% on-site and hands-on in a laboratory environment.
