Summary: CFD Research Corporation is seeking a Multi-Skilled Technician to join our dynamic team at our state-of-the-art Engineering Test Center in Hollywood, Alabama. This role involves designing, fabricating, and building complex parts and sub-assemblies, supporting our innovative technology development programs. The ideal candidate will leverage their skills in assembly and troubleshooting of mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems to contribute to our engineering projects.

Responsibilities: • Design and fabricate complex parts and sub-assemblies. • Assemble and troubleshoot complex mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems. • Read and interpret engineering drawings and P&ID diagrams. • Collaborate with engineers and technicians to support technology development programs. • Utilize a variety of tools and equipment efficiently. • Maintain accurate records and documentation of work performed. • Ensure adherence to quality and safety standards.

Required Skills: • US Citizenship with eligibility to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance. • Associate degree or higher with a minimum of 4 years of experience in a maintenance/technician environment. • Proven experience in assembly and basic maintenance. • Proficient in troubleshooting electrical, mechanical and pneumatic systems. • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. • Effective communication skills.

Desired Qualifications: • Familiarity with AS9100 processes. • Experience with basic manual machining practices. • Knowledge of basic fabrication and welding processes. • Strong technical knowledge across multiple fields. • Attention to detail and manual dexterity. • Good communication and interpersonal skills. • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
