Job Purpose:
- Perform instrumented testing using established procedures to verify machine and component performance against product specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up tests, including fixtures, part modifications, required instrumentation, and overall configuration.
- Execute tests using computer-controlled systems as well as mechanical control systems.
- Collect and record data using both digital and analog measurement systems.
- Collaborate closely with engineers and technicians to communicate test progress, issues, and results.
- Perform test teardown, cleanup, and equipment reset following completion.
Required Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical drawings.
- Strong mechanical aptitude, including experience with power tools and metalworking equipment.
- Ability to safely lift up to 50 lbs.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Basic mechanical systems.
- Ability to work independently with general guidance from management and team members.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications (What Sets You Apart):
- Associate's degree in a related field or equivalent hands-on experience.
- Working knowledge of refrigeration systems and components.
- Basic understanding of heat transfer.
- Basic understanding of electrical systems and PLC programming.
