Engineering Technician II - Product Engineering Support (CA)Major PurposePerforms instrumented tests using existing procedures to verify that system performance meetsproduct specifications. Supports assigned product groups in product validation and verificationprocess as associated with production requirements. Provides problem identification andresolution, corrective action and tracking and reliability analysis. Provides input on test proceduresto engineers and support personnel as required.Major Duties? Designs, schedules and performs field and/or lab tests to validate new product designs.? Analyzes test data of moderate complexity, draws conclusions and summarizes reports.? Develops programs for data acquisition.? Collects and installs instrumentation for test.? Compiles test reports that document procedures and communicates results and guidance todesign group.? Assists in procedure and process documentation for various aspects of testing requirements.? Assists in developing changes to product design for new programs or continuousimprovement projects.? Gives work direction to test operators.Skills, Abilities, Knowledge? Familiarity with one or more of the following systems: mechanical, hydraulic, electrical.? Position Title: Process Technician II

Specific Position Requirements: Position Overview
The Process Technician plays a critical role in supporting the production floor, responding to technical requests, and resolving machine or mechanical issues in a timely manner. The technician will be responsible for troubleshooting and perform hands-on repairs to ensure smooth operations.
The successful candidate will complete 2+ months of comprehensive training at the Main Plant before transitioning to the PES facility.

Shift: 1st shift
Shift hours: 8am-4pm

Drug Screen required

Key Responsibilities
Respond promptly to requests and trouble calls from the production floor.
Diagnoses, troubleshoots, and repairs issues with machines and mechanical equipment.
Provide support with soldering tasks and related processes.
Perform failure analysis and document findings.
Operate diagnostic tools such as multimeters.
Work with small robotics, conveyors, automated soldering stations, and material dispensary equipment.
Track work performed using basic computer applications.
Maintain a high level of safety and use required PPE (metatarsal shoes) at all times.
Requirements
3+ years of experience in electronics, manufacturing, or engineering preferred
Mechanical aptitude and strong troubleshooting skills
Hands-on experience with soldering (support and intermediate level)
Ability to use multimeters and perform failure analysis
Experience with small robotics, conveyance equipment, and automated machinery
Basic proficiency with computers
Able to work independently with minimal supervision
2-year technical degree or equivalent technician experience
Additional Information
Local candidates preferred
Metatarsal safety shoes required on day one
Position is 100% onsite
Approximately 75% of time spent on the factory floor, 25% at a desk
