Job Title: Engineering Technician II - Product Engineering Support
Location: Morrisville, NC
Salary Range: $30 - $32/hour
Introduction
We are seeking a dedicated Engineering Technician II to join our Product Engineering Support team. This role is integral to ensuring our products meet the highest standards of quality and performance through rigorous testing and validation processes.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Familiarity with one or more of the following systems: mechanical, hydraulic, electrical.
- Skill in using company information systems and processes.
- Knowledge in engineering principles, theory, and practice as well as product knowledge.
- Knowledge of industry Product Verification & Validation processes and execution methodologies.
- Must have previous client experience working for this customer in the past 5 years.
Preferred Skills & Qualifications
- Fundamental understanding of machine forms relevant to the specific job assignment.
- Experience with engineering tools, systems, and databases.
- Demonstrated ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Designs, schedules, and performs field and/or lab tests to validate new product designs.
- Analyzes test data of moderate complexity, draws conclusions, and summarizes reports.
- Develops programs for data acquisition and collects and installs instrumentation for tests.
- Compiles test reports that document procedures and communicates results and guidance to the design group.
- Assists in procedure and process documentation for various aspects of testing requirements.
- Gives work direction to test operators.
