
Soldering Technician Jobot
- $25–$32 Per Hour
RGNext employees execute and report on theater and strategic offensive and defensive ballistic missile testing and support space situational awareness operations and experiments, using a wide array of highly sophisticated radar, telemetry and optical sensors to meet the needs of our nation in defending the United States and its interests.
This overseas position is located on Kwajalein Atoll in the Marshall Islands. Benefits of this unique location include free housing and the potential for overseas tax incentives.
What You Will Do:
Qualifications You Must Have:
Associate's degree in Electronics Technology or related field, military or vocational training equivalent, or experience in lieu of education.
Eight (8) or more years of technical experience.
Working understanding of engineering practices such as:
Soldering
Circuit board work
System and component level troubleshooting using oscilloscopes, digital multi-meters, spectrum analyzers, power meters, insulation testers, and other test equipment.
Ability to read electronic schematics and mechanical drawings.
Familiarity with industry control systems.
Ability to communicate with suppliers, perform material estimating, write technical specifications, read and approve submittals and finalize as-built drawings.
Self-motivated and work effectively with considerable latitude but follow established processes.
Be a self-starter and ability to work well independently but also as part of a team with a common goal.
Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite.
Ability to lift/carry/push/pull up to 50 pounds independently.
Ability to work in small, tight spaces.
The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued Secret security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. passport.
Must be able to relocate to the United States Army Kwajalein Atoll, Marshall Islands.
The flexibility to work occasional non-duty hours or on weekends to support specific project or mission requirements.
