Astrion has an exciting opportunity for an Engineering Technician 4 for the RTC Test and Engineering Services (RTES) Contract supporting the Army Division.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS  

• 7 years of applicable experience supporting engineering, design, or testing of hardware in the appropriate area of specialization; or 3 years of applicable college/vocational/military/technical school and 4 years of applicable experience in the assigned specialty area: Commercial and Industrial Electrical.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret Government security clearance (Must be a U.S. Citizen).
• Must be able to pass pre-employment drug screening.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS

• Good leadership & people skills.
• Experience in applying Operational Procedures, Policies, and SOP's.
• Ability to manage personnel, effectively utilize employee skillsets, and make sure they align with test events.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• The technician will be required to provide electrician support for operations in, and around, test stands and fixtures.
• Operate and maintain equipment for test support.
• Work as a team member to plan, setup, install, troubleshoot/maintain range electrical and fiber lines.
• Support senior engineers and technicians during test operations on local test ranges as well as CONUS travel missions on other DoD test ranges.
