Job Description The Manufacturing Engineering Technician will have direct involvement with Manufacturing, Design and Operations with a focus on new product launch. The Technician will be involved in all phases of new product launch from producing prototypes to investigation of new processes and launching into mass production.Working with engineering and operators to produce prototype parts for engineering buildsWork through multiple parallel path options for production methods, both internal processes and investigation of new processesWork with outside vendors and project engineers for new equipment designWork with outside vendors and project engineers for testing, validating and qualifying external processes for productionProvide technical training assistance to shift operators and Set-up TechniciansPerform quality checks / testing on parts during prototype and engineering build phases, using measuring instruments providedRead and understand quality standards, control plans, and all pertinent documentation required to produce a quality part to specificationAble to assist and support corrective action, cross-functional quality, downtime and scrapEducation and Experience Technology related Associate Degree required5+ years of experience in various manufacturing processesExperience with new product launch requiredAbility to interpret part drawings, knowledge of part quality requirements, and computer systems requiredStrong organizational and prioritization skillsExcellent communication skillsWell-developed and innovative problem-solving skills requiredCAD experience a strong plusHave the ability to work with minimal directionExperience preferred in automated & manual assembly, forging, stamping, machining, injection moldingMilwaukee Tool is an equal opportunity employer.#J-18808-Ljbffr
