Central Electric Power Cooperative is accepting applications for the position of Line Design Engineering Technician.

Preferred Qualifications: • Associate's degree in Civil Engineering Technology, Design Drafting Technology, or a related field are required • Three to five years of direct utility experience may be considered in lieu of a degree • Experience with AutoCAD or similar drafting software required • Experience with ESRI GIS software is a plus

Primary Responsibilities Include: • Line and substation staking • Field data collection • Creating and maintaining engineering drawings • Maintaining accurate system records and documentation

The successful candidate must be able to obtain and maintain a Class E driver's license and be willing to work outdoors in all weather conditions.

Compensation starts at $36 per hour. Actual starting pay will be determined based on qualifications and experience.
