    Engineering Technician Level I
    Tampa, FL
    Direct Hire | Full-Time

    TempExperts is seeking an Engineering Technician Level I to join an innovative engineering and manufacturing team in Tampa, FL. This Direct Hire position plays a key role in setting up new machinery, programming CNC equipment, and providing technical support and training to customers. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical and mechanical skills, hands-on experience with automation or robotics, and the ability to troubleshoot complex systems both in-house and at customer sites.

    Responsibilities:
    • Set up and troubleshoot new and existing machinery and work cells.
    • Program CNC equipment to produce customer samples and acceptance parts.
    • Conduct quality assurance tests on new machinery prior to customer delivery.
    • Train customers on proper operation, programming, and maintenance of equipment, both in-house and on-site.
    • Provide timely technical support and ensure customer satisfaction through responsive service and follow-up.
    • Repair and maintain products at customer sites as needed, documenting all work performed in the CRM system.
    • Develop and maintain technical documentation, training materials, and troubleshooting guides.
    • Collaborate with Engineering and Production teams to provide feedback and implement process improvements.
    • Assist in the development of new products and industrial automation solutions.
    • Support global fixes, emergency releases, and product updates as directed by Engineering.
    • Communicate proactively with customers regarding problem status and resolution.

    Requirements / Education:
    • Degree or significant coursework/certifications in Electrical, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering, or related field.
    • 1–3+ years of experience programming, troubleshooting, or operating machinery.
    • Strong mechanical, electrical, and programming skills.
    • Ability to read and interpret electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic schematics.
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
    • Experience with motion control systems or robot programming (Fanuc preferred) a plus.
    • Strong problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
    • Ability to work independently and think creatively.
    • Ability to travel up to 25%.
    • Valid Driver’s License required.
