Engineering Technician

Job Description:


Duties and Responsibilities


+ Assist in setup and maintainingtest fixtures and equipmentas required


+ Exercise responsibility for thoroughness, timeliness and accuracy of work performed.


+ Perform diverse tests on the Company’s line of productsand competitor products.


+ Perform tests per work instructions and request procedures.


+ Preparesimplereports of test results and make recommendations.


+ Prepare reports utilizing a PC with word processing, database,andspreadsheet.


+ Basic machining skillspreferred


+ Basic electronics understandingpreferred– AC/DC circuits, motors, sensors, controllers


+ Ability to complete basic wiring and soldering of components preferred.


+ Understanding of common machine component applications and assemblies.


+ Must follow all safety protocols as prescribed.


+ Must ableto standfor 6 to 8hourandlift 50 pounds.


+ Other duties as assigned.


Education and Experience Requirements


+ 0 to2yearsofexperience with test equipment,product life / performancetestprocedures and methods, mechanical/electricalprinciplesor an applicable trade.


+ Knowledge ofbasictest concepts in the design and development of products and components.


+ High school diploma orequivalent


+ Must have a validdriverslicense
