DPP is seeking an Engineering Technician for an opportunity with our client in the Aerospace and Defense Manufacturing industry.
Work Location: Onsite in Redondo Beach, CA Duration: 7 months Terms: W2 Contract Work Authorization: US Citizen
Responsibilities:
Assemble, integrate and test space flight hardware while interpreting blueprints, specifications, and work instructions.
Handle and assemble delicate and ESD sensitive flight hardware in a dynamic team environment.
Assist with occasional assembly of non-flight Ground Support Equipment and work with forklifts, cranes and associated rigging equipment.
Required Qualifications:
Basic understanding of Mechanical principles.
Blueprint comprehension.
Ability to work with computers & Microsoft tools.
Able to work in a team environment.
Knowledge of tools and measurement devices.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience and knowledge of Mechanical and Electrical tools and hardware.
