Pay rate: $30-40/hr W2
Onsite only
US Citizenship required

Engineering Technician 1 to support our Integration Test & Launch department. As a member of the IT&L, you’ll get to work on space flight hardware in a fun, challenging, and gratifying work environment. This position will serve on-site at Redondo Beach, CA.

TECHNICAL SKILLS
Must Have
Ability to assemble and handle delicate hardware using mechanical and electrical tools.
ability to occasionally lift 35 lbs.
Able to read work instructions

Nice To Have
• Ability to read and interpret production specifications, production diagrams, assembly drawings, and technical specifications (English)

Responsibilities
Assemble, integrate and test space fligh hardware while interpreting blueprints, specifications, and work instructions. Handle and assemble delicate and ESD sensitive flight hardware in a dynamic team environment. Assist with occassional assembly of non-flight Ground Support Equipment and work with forklifts, cranes and associated rigging equipment.
Basic Qualifications for Engineering Technician 1
Basic understanding of Mechanical principles, and bluprint comprehension, ability to work with computers & Microsoft tools, and able to work in a team environment. Knowledge of tools and measurement devices.
Preferred Qualifications for Engineering Technician 1
Experience and knowledge of Mechanical and Electrical tools and hardware.
