Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Physics, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Experience with cable harness assembly and generation of cable drawing packages.
  • Experience with common lab instrumentation (DMM, oscilloscope, LCR meter, programmable load/power supplies).
  • Experience with soldering such as but not limited to (fine pitch, Ball Grid Array/Land Grid Array(BGA/LGA)) with soldering irons, tweezers, hot air rework pencils, preheaters, and reflow ovens.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Ability to work cross-functionally and in a team environment.

As an Engineering Technician, you will engage in a variety of challenging projects, from building and prototyping robotic systems in laboratory settings to validating them in real-world scenarios. This position offers the opportunity to collaborate with a multi-functional team dedicated to advancing the field of robotics.

Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

US: $108,000 - $153,000 (USD) + 15% bonus target + equity + benefits

Responsibilities

  • Assist with electromechanical prototype builds including kitting, assembly, and testing.
  • Rework PCBs in a variety of different applications.
  • Inspect incoming parts and coordinate with external fab houses and contract manufacturers Cable harness assembly for Research and Development (R&D) prototyping and low quantity builds.
  • Track inventory of parts, subassemblies, and final assemblies across multiple sites.
  • Execute Detailed Design Verification Test (DVT) of PCBAs following existing test documentation.
