    About the Role

    As we explore new data collection technologies, we need a technician with strong independence and a versatile background to build, deploy, debug, and maintain data collection stations.

    Responsibilities

    • Fabricate and assemble aluminum extrusion work tables and fixtures

    • Operate and maintain 3D printers, including setup, calibration, and troubleshooting

    • Perform post-processing of 3D printed parts (cleaning, support removal, finishing, and quality inspection)

    • Comfortability with soldering PCBs, data/power connectors, and splicing wires

    • Build and organize robust wire harnesses

    • Read and interpret technical drawings, assembly instructions, and wiring diagrams

    • Collaborate with engineering teams to resolve issues and improve processes

    • Debug and repair robotic systems

    Requirements

    • Experience with power tools like miter saw, band saw, and drill press

    • 3D Printing (FDM) setup, post processing, and device maintenance

    • Electrical harnessing

    • Soldering

    • Crimping (RJ45, Molex, JST, etc.)

    • Strong communication skills

    Preferred Qualifications

    • CAD (we use Onshape)

    • SLA/Other types of additive manufacturing

    • Experience using manual mill/lathe

    • Basic software knowledge
