The School of Engineering at Shippensburg University is currently seeking applications for an Engineering Technician. The successful candidate will support the operation, development, and maintenance of Mechanical and Civil Engineering laboratories. This position will be responsible for laboratory setup, equipment procurement and installation, equipment operation and maintenance, safety protocols, and instruction support.
The successful candidate should have a general understanding of Mechanical and/or Civil Engineering laboratory practices and the ability to learn and work with a diverse range of laboratory equipment and technologies.
The candidate will have a flexible schedule, but may have to work some evenings and weekends to meet the students' needs.
