Engineering Technician - Solon, Ohio - JOB 25-01390Salary Range: $31.00 - $36.00/HR
Permanent Position with BenefitsSolon, Ohio company is seeking to hire an experienced Engineering Technician to test robotic controlled industrial machines.
REQUIREMENTS- BSEE (Associate or Trade school degree with applicable experience will be considered)
- Read and understand mechanical and electrical technical drawings
- Familiar with PLC robot software (Robot AS, PLC and Kepware code strongly desired)
- Test custom OEM machinery and controls in the shop
- Troubleshooting diagnostics of electrical equipment
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills to write test procedures
- Electrical and mechanical machinery understanding
- Possible up to 30% travel for field installation / start-up help
- Must have clean driving record and passport to occasionally travel in North America (possibly South America)
- Pay $31 to $36 per hour plus $10-20k per year in overtime pay is possible
- Overtime pay after 40hrs. per week paid at time and one half
