Job Description
Role Summary-
Description:
Engineering Technician will perform testing related to Reliability,
Reprocessing, Biocompatibility and Chemical Compatibility for our ultrasound products. Engineering Technician will work directly with Engineers and other Engineering Technicians supporting Product Design and Development.
Responsibilities-
Key Responsibilities/Essential Functions Include:
Comply with EHS regulations and policies.
Follow established written test protocols and document details of testing, using established Good Documentation Practice
Ensure the creation of accurate, complete and timely records.
Operate laboratory test and processing equipment such as Reprocessing Systems, ovens, cameras, microscopes, Robots, scales, vacuum pumps, and various other inspection equipment.
Utilize standard medical industry cleaning, disinfection and sterilization techniques for ultrasound probes
Perform other tasks supporting New Product Development, Design Improvement, Sustaining and Maintenance as needed
Qualifications-

Aware of and comply with the GEHC Quality Manual, Quality Management System, Quality Management Policy, Quality Goals, and applicable laws and regulations as they apply to this job type/position
Complete all planned Quality & Compliance training within the defined deadlines
Identify and report any quality or compliance concerns and take immediate corrective action as required
Ensures the creation of accurate, complete and timely records.
Required Qualifications:
Associates Degree, or High School diploma and 2 years technical, manufacturing, or quality experience
Proficiency to understand and interpret basic written technical information and instructions
Demonstrated proficiency to utilize computerized work systems
Effective verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to communicate using local language.
Demonstrated ability to work well with general direction and information
Ability to learn new tasks quickly
Good manual dexterity
Good attention to detail.
Must be able to work independently / self-motivated.
