Introduction

The SW HIL team is responsible for building and maintaining various test assets to validate the design of our autonomous vehicle. You will support the build, maintenance, and troubleshooting of these simulation machines. This role is essential to the execution stage of the autonomous software development program, ensuring the simulation and test infrastructure operates predictably at all times. We are looking for candidates who are comfortable with maintaining complex systems and excited about developing new ways to support a rapidly moving R&D organization.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience using hand tools & power tools
  • Proficiency using a digital multimeter and oscilloscope
  • Experience building/troubleshooting/diagnosing computers
  • Excellent organizational and documentation skills
  • Effective and positive communication
  • Ability to lift up to 60 lbs
  • Prior work experience at client or in client's Industry

Applicants must be able to work directly for Artech on W2

Preferred Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience with Google suite, Client Office, JIRA, and Confluence
  • Knowledge of automotive CAN bus networks
  • Experience with Linux and running scripts
  • B.S. in Engineering
  • IPC Certification
  • Experience building automotive harnesses
  • Data Center Technician experience

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

  • Support and track various configurations of test platforms
  • Assemble custom hardware to enable Hardware-in-the-Loop testing
  • Use commercially available hardware to build computers
  • Install network and vehicle system components in server racks
  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair test hardware
  • Build & repair harnesses based on electrical diagrams
  • Collaborate with engineering teams to troubleshoot complex issues
  • Clearly document tasks and projects
  • Coordinate with cross functional teams
